I was recommended this product by a glamping campsite owner who had recently changed over all his showers to these units, as they were more reliable and provided a better guest experience. I have used this in my own camping shower setup, and it's been great. I've adapted it so that it is attached to a mixer, so it has a rain shower and a handheld chat can be switched between and the pressure is great for both.

It's very easy to setup and works very well. The shower host is quite short so I had to buy a longer hose to connect it.
Heater arrived and is fitted, not yet trialed as waiting on water and gas. We will use it to supply the outdoor bath tub. Communication prior to purchase with Camplux UK was clunky, slow. After ordering I was informed the rain cap was not in stock and wouldn’t be back for a few months which is frustrating as was in stock online. I’m looking forward to using it, hopeful it will do the job and rain cap will be delivered soon. My plumber set it up and connected with flexi hoses, seems straightforward. Can’t wait for hot bath outside.
This portable camping heater from the Camplux Amazon store is impressive for a small heater it certainly gives out a good amount of heat. I like that when assembled the height from the floor to the top of the heater is just under 50cm so the heater is at your level when sitting down. The heater has two heat settings, a high and low Iv found that the low setting is plenty hot enough. The best feature of this camping heater is that you can boil a kettle on the top of the heater while you are getting warm so the heat is not going to waste. I like that theres no front and back, the heat from the heater radiates 360 degrees. Easy to assemble and easy to use good value for money for a two in one camping heater. Make sure that you use it in a vented space to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

I ordered this to take camping. It takes EN471 butane gas camping cartridges, I didnt have EN471 type so bought a small one to try this out before I put my camping equipment away for the winter. I really like this whole set up, I tried it in what was quite windy weather, not only did it stay lit, but the legs kept it upright, despite some big gusts. I was completely happy that this is going nowhere and even if it did there is a safety feature that turns off the gas. It has two heat levels, 1 and 2, with 1 heating half the heater and 2 heating the whole thing. It did not take long to get up to full heat giving off a red glow and putting a heat you could feel about a metre or more away. You can also place a pan or kettle on top of this and heat food or water. The whole thing, is stored in a good quality thick double zipped bag, with the three legs store in there own little section. As you can tell I was impressed with this, yes its expensive but worth it, its really good quality and I can recommend if you want a camping heater that stores up safely in a bag.

We are using the outdoor shower for our holiday let...The Horsebox. It is used to fill the hot tub [a 150 gallon drinking trough] for our guests. It fills in 45 minutes at 38 degrees. So enables a quick turnaround which is what we needed. Hoping our guests will love it.
Have to say this little thing did shower great. I put it to the test on an island in Maine for 2 weeks with no electricity the unit continue to run pumping out over a hundred and thirty gallons of hot water before the battery needed replacement. The average amount of water used per shower was about four gallons. The heat is good, the look is good, easy charging and just exactly what I have been looking for. I highly recommend this unit.
Best thing Ive ever purchased so far as being able to take a hot shower when I camp. Pressure not like a home shower but still awesome to be able to take a hot shower in the wilderness.
This is the greatest little shower. It works great. We had another brand of shower and it was not worth the time or the money. Had to send it back. So we bought this one. We have used it twice so far and it works great. So if you are looking for a portable shower look this one.
A few things you need to know for operation�� It needs charged! I thought it needed to be plugged in to operate��nope, it��s mobile!Drop it into a river or lake for unlimited hot water/shower��this thing uses water very fast!!! And you wont have to turn it off between washing and rinsing or the next person taking a shower. This is a fantastic product with good water pressure and very hot! You will use it on medium. One of the best camping purchases I��ve ever made!

Works great. Only down side is, it was missing a few parts. We did not get the screws that mount the unit to the stands. We were also missing the brass connections to connect it to a normal garden hose supply.

Surprising well designed and thought out. The gas lights up effortlessly and almost silently. The shower head looks like a cheap plastic thing but has a very easy to operate on/off switch, variable flow and delux stainless steel nozzle plate.
Great product and amazing customer service. I wanted an outdoor shower for a quick rinse before getting in the hot tub. This has worked faultlessly and looks the part too. Had an issue with the freezing weather but got in touch with customer service and they were incredibly fast and resolved my issue immediately. 10/10 would recommend.
I can only rate the BW158C positively so far and cannot understand the previous reviews! The product description gives you all the information you need without being surprised afterwards: Yes, it is an English/American manufacturer, with English pressure reducer (37mbar) and English instructions. The appliance itself looks neatly finished, has a CE mark and all connections/threads fitted cleanly and directly without leaks. I fitted the supplied hot water hose "the other way round" so that I could connect the thread on the device and the plug-in outlet directly to my permanently installed Gardena garden shower on the outdoor hot tub! Plug'n play, so to speak! The appliance worked perfectly straight away and, with a flow temperature of 50°C displayed, delivers pleasantly warm water at the end of the shower. The water flow is set to max, the gas is only set to a quarter! Now I can take a wonderfully warm shower in the garden before and after a hot tub bath at any time of year and no longer have to walk wet through the house into the garden. I won't be able to judge gas consumption and heating performance when it's cold outside until the autumn/winter, but so far I'm absolutely satisfied! 5 stars from me!
I am very satisfied with the instantaneous water heater. The heat output and function are very good. The compact design makes it very easy to install and customise. There are also very attractive installation instructions for outdoor showers online.
Personally, I'm very satisfied with this instant water heater, sometimes even too much so! I use it for my shower inside my caravan. I made a stand to place it in front of the front boot, connected to the gas supply because the appliance is extremely hot when in use, so it shouldn't be used indoors! From there I simply ran a hose with Gardena connectors into my shower cubicle. Simple and effective, but at the moment the water is often a little too hot. A solution that's just as effective and much more economical than a Truma water heater. I've just had a small breakdown but I received a response from the after-sales service within 24 hours and a solution is on its way. I highly recommend it!
Issues with being too hot, Camplux support helped me solve the problem! Initially I had a few problems with this in my campervan. It was way too hot. I emailed Camplux and the head of Camplux EU, Chris, emailed me and give lots of suggestions why I was having problems. It ended up being my water pump being too slow, and not giving enough pressure to the heater. I got advice to test with the mains water supply and adjust the water inlet screw, which helped me figure out the problem. I’d recommend you to do the same if the water is too hot in your campervan. Camplux took 1 day to reply to my email, they were very friendly and helpful. Shower works great now, will update this review if anything changes.

We have this at our campsite in the Hill Country. Elevation is at 1900 feet. We have it nailed to a tree. We get our water from an aquifer & it is cold when it comes out of the ground. This water heater does the job. It takes seconds to get the water hot! We have it set on eco, gas set to minimum, water to max. Nice hit showers now. We also have hot water for our dishes now.
small, easy to install, endless hot water! love my little Camus shower. rigged it up in a small outside bathroom by my micro home. It’s a Ventilated room and has a little window next to it, so I’m sure it’s fine, do be aware you’ll need ventilation. super easy to install and use. instant hot water, and seemingly endless with a decent gas bottle attached. the back gets a little hot so I mounted it off the wall slightly on some metal washers. Seems to do the trick. perfect for my use, I’d recommend to anyone with a small or micro home. 5 thumbs up.
I'm building a tiny home inside a portable building and need a shower till I've got one tiled and plumbed. This unit is amazing. I hooked it up to a splitter and a shut off valve plus 30 lb LP. Run it at 108 degrees and I'm happy!
We use the Camplux on a campsite for the hot water supply including shower on our permanent pitch. And both in terms of heat output and consumption it is absolutely top class. The appliance switches on immediately when hot water is requested. It may take a few seconds to heat up, but then it heats up well. In any case, a clear recommendation to buy

Great little heater for camping. Used it on our camping trip. Easy to set up and use. Need a safe place to hang it out of reach of dogs and small hands. We purchased to have hot water in our outdoor kitchen and it meets our needs.
This thing is super easy to hook up and even easier to use. Just hook up the water supply either with a garden hose or conventional pipe fittings, attach a propane supply and a couple of D cell batteries. Then all you have to do is turn on the water like you would at home...The heater starts and stops all by itself based on the water demand (when the water is flowing it is heating it and when it stops it shuts off). That easy. We use it for our off grid bath tub. IT ROCKS! and fills the tub quickly with water that is so hot we have to cool it down before we jump in. The unit is about the size of a carry on suit case and kinda heavy. Calling it "portable" is a bit of a stretch but the ease of hook up makes up for its bulkyness. This thing delivers very hot water even at sub 40 degree winter inlet water temp (although the flow needs to be reduced a bit to get it up to bath tub water tempature up higher due to the cold air temps cooling the water faster as it sits in the tub quicker than in the summer months). Do not ask me about its efficiency because the last thing I am thinking about as I slip into our romantic out door tub full of hot water, with my painfully beautiful wife sitting naked at the other end of the tub is how much propane I used....
Very easy to install, the hot tub works great, it's fantastic to take a bath with cold water from your own well and the water temperature goes to 40 degrees immediately! Recommended for anyone who wants a hot shower, even in a holiday home if you have a pump and can only shower with cold water.
For anyone who is contemplating buying one of these water heaters I can 110% recommend it. Had my first shower on the boat with lots of hot water had to turn the heat down it’s quite powerful! Pressure is good as running off mains but can also be used with 12v pump from a storage container. Top marks Camplux
So the usual reason is why everyone wants to go home from camping, is because they are dirty. This hot water heater changed our whole camping trips. Now instead of a weekend camp trip now we'll be there for a week. My girlfriends dad and mom also love it. In my opinion but the one with the pump where you are not buying multiple pumps trying to figure out which one is best. But you should buy this!
We needed a good way to heat water in our off grid laundry room and we have a larger Camplux water heater in our cabin so we decided on this one. I knew from installing our other water heater that I needed to purchase the proper brass fittings to connect standard 1/2" water lines to. Saves messing up the threads on the water heater fittings. Works great for us!
Awesome!I did not use the directions for hook up. So easy and no issues. Package included every fitting and washer I needed. I did use tape on all threaded parts. I had hot water running in about 45 mins.(Warning!) The hot water can reach scolding temperatures. Adults should be present when shower is use by children.)Heater is hooked to a hydrant and propane tank.Instant hot water.I have been taking 20 minute showers everyday twice a day since delivery. I have used 20% of 15lb propane tank.My opinion, AWESOME!!I have the unit set to 113 which is perfect for the outside wash station.Update 11/2021 awesome item, Unless your an idiot like those who post less than 5 stars! Take your time, relax and understand tankless water heaters will be effectived by inlet water temperature and air/ground temperature. So, it is almost impossible to maintain a consistent temperature between usages. Even if, like some who use the system for what is not designed to do you will have to monitor the temperature. Do not be stupid, set the temperature walk away and believe it will be consistent. Idiots. Change of weather here. Shower time temperatures vary every day. Turn on gas, turn on water and notice where the temp is. Adjust a little and ENJOY! No different than your furnace, have to adjust ths thermostat. This product is rock solid! Easy ro drain when temperatures reach freezing weather. Again, if your a idiot don't make a purchase. If you have just alittle bit of commonsense this product will never let you down.I have read many reviews and most must have been written by dem idiots!
