I was recommended this product by a glamping campsite owner who had recently changed over all his showers to these units, as they were more reliable and provided a better guest experience.
I have used this in my own camping shower setup, and it's been great. I've adapted it so that it is attached to a mixer, so it has a rain shower and a handheld chat can be switched between and the pressure is great for both.
Personally, I'm very satisfied with this instant water heater, sometimes even too much so! I use it for my shower inside my caravan. I made a stand to place it in front of the front boot, connected to the gas supply because the appliance is extremely hot when in use, so it shouldn't be used indoors! From there I simply ran a hose with Gardena connectors into my shower cubicle. Simple and effective, but at the moment the water is often a little too hot. A solution that's just as effective and much more economical than a Truma water heater. I've just had a small breakdown but I received a response from the after-sales service within 24 hours and a solution is on its way. I highly recommend it!

love my little Camus shower. rigged it up in a small outside bathroom by my micro home. It’s a Ventilated room and has a little window next to it, so I’m sure it’s fine, do be aware you’ll need ventilation.

This is my 3rd camplux boiler in about 30 years. I am a dog groomer and i wash dogs in a shed too far from the house. The boilers convenient cause i can get down water with a garden hose. Gas is no problem either. However because of the fumes i have to mount it outside the shed in a permanent position. When its kept outside it rusts up over time and can freeze over the winter and batteries get flat. This latest boiler, i have installed in the shed and have made a venting kit and cut hole to let fumes out. Disregarding the cap on top. I wud like camplux to provide venting kits with boilers for those who want to use the boiler indoors. Im happy with my new boiler its working well. I hope being indoors gives it a longer life.
I have fitted these to 2 campervan conversions (With sufficient ventilation) and found them to be great. Instant water (within a few seconds) hot as you like and adjustable temp.
Important thing to remember is if the temps drop to freezing, even in a building or vehicle, the system needs to be drained or the heater matrix will freeze and burst. (They do send you a message after purchase about this) This unfortunately happened to me when we hit -12 recently and didn't think the inside of the van was below zero but it was and of course it froze and burst. I contacted the buyer and asked if I could get a replacement matrix. They offered to send a replacement foc. Amazing customer service!!!
I was going to pay for a plumber to install a tap etc and small water heater. This is a much better option if you’re only using to wash the car etc. Well handy

We use this as a shower in an off grid cabin. It's mounted outside with the bottle & the shower head inside the cabin.
You need to make sure it's sited correctly (eg so the wind can't blow out the flame), but other than that it's "plug and play"; as long as your batteries are good, it fires straight up. Good adjustments, you can get the water very hot, quite quickly. Good adjustment on the shower head too.
Easy to take down for the winter if you want to.

All seems great, replaced the shower head after a few months with a better one. As it's pretty rubbish out of the box.
Be sure to set the flow rate pressure switch dial low and the gas heat temp medium/high on the dials and it works really well.
Went together in half hour mainly due to water supply (installing splitter) but a few adjustments on unit soon had good temperature and pressure can’t fault it
I cant exspress how amazing this shower is. The costumer care has been superb. Its really easy to install and even easier to use. Can run on butane gass as well as propane. Can atach a flew for indoor use. Really economical. Just contact the company for enquiries I got a response both times within hours. Well recommend.
Good water heater that does what it has to do! for future i would suggest camplux to improve the design on the bottom part of the heater, so all the cables and electronics would have better protection. besides that, works like a charm and heats the water instantly as advised.

When it works its great, but the flame randomly goes off making the water freezing. This can happen 3-4 times during a few minutes of use.
It's running with a Shurflo trail king water pump, I have replaced the batteries with Duracell high performance and the issue remains.

Propane or butane gas bottles. The supplied gas regulator is for propane gas bottle. You will need another 30mbar gas regulator if you use the appliance on butane gas bottle.
You will additionally need a LPG bottle, 2-D-size batteries, inlet water hose. If your local water pressure is low (under 1 bar) or the inlet water source is a water tank, you will need another water pump and 12V power source.
It is recommended to use this product in a well-ventilated place, such as outdoors, garden, balcon, horse stables, ect..
